What are some of the factors applicants should consider when choosing which MBA to accept?
Unlike many MBA programmes taught by ‘foreign’ universities Birmingham adopts the ‘flying faculty’ model where the majority of programmes are taught by the same faculty who teach students in the UK. In addition the degree awarded is identical to the one awarded to students who study on the home campus. The certificate given to students does not differentiate between the UK and Singapore and students should they wish can attend a graduation ceremony at Birmingham University.
Extensiveness of Network
Learning from faculty that combine extensive experience of global business with relevant academic theory graduates will be provided with vital skills that will give them a long-term return on their studies enabling them to confront the key challenges facing their organisation in a constantly changing business environment.
Geographical location and Infrastructure
In addition students will have access to SIM’s excellent infrastructure and technology, should not experience any disruption to their planned career path, have opportunities through group interaction for networking and enjoy access to the Birmingham global alumni network.
The programme has been specifically designed for candidates across a range of industries who want to boost their career prospects and enhance their thinking about management practices. The part-time delivery mode is designed to meet the needs of busy professionals juggling work and other commitments with study. The programme will equip graduates to move into more senior management positions either in their own organisation or elsewhere.
